Contemporary See-Through Woodside Bay Home

This house is anchored to the site with the three solid towers. Bridging these towers is a floating pavilion which minimizes interior and exterior boundaries and gives the houses a transparency that allows views through from any aspect.

ARKANOVA - the "NEW ARK"

noah's ark is one of the earliest concept of a roof over one's head. since then, the very idea of a "home" or "space" has evolved quite a bit.

arkanova is a blogsite about properties and design and my experiences renovating old homes/spaces.

It's an arena where like-minded people from anywhere can share ideas and be inspired... every space has it's potential and we can breathe new life into it with design and natural light.

Jay Leksukhon 陸景星 trained as a creative/art director in advertising and has worked in advertising agencies Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis in USA, Europe and Asia. His international experience led to many advertising awards, but more importantly, it gave him a chance to see great designs around the world - For that, he is grateful for the chance & experience. His interest in interiors started when he had to renovate his Ho Chi Minh City flat above his agency. Since then he has transformed some old, dark homes into bright, modern and open-plan homes. He loves using natural, wood, stone, aged materials to give a worn-in and comfortable look. He mixes modern with traditional character to give a memorable feel. Lately he is into farm & plants and strives to bring green into indoors spaces. He loves natural light and outdoor spaces and tries to incorporate them in his designs. Jay is a creative, entrepreneur and real estate investor. With transformed homes in HK, Singapore, USA, Thailand.
